Mobius Progress: September 2023

Greetings, readers, from the 21st century!

This month was a good month for writing. I exceeded my goal and wrote 5 chapters, bringing the total to 29 out of about 40. During the most recent chapter, I got some good worldbuilding in for Tarran, which I’ll be sure to sprinkle into the earlier chapters in the next draft.

I’m excited for these upcoming chapters, because things are crazy, and they’re only going to get crazier. In this final quarter, it will all come together with some mind-blowing twists, which lead into the second book. I'm excited to keep going!

Since I have only 10-ish chapters left and 3.5 months, I should have no trouble finishing the first draft this year. I would like to aim for the end of Novemer, so that I have a whole month to analyze it and plan the second draft. Therefore, I intend to write 5 chapters again before the 18th of October. Seven years of NaNoWriMo have conditioned me to see Fall weather as writing weather, so this should be perfectly reasonable. I'll be back for another update in October!
