New Sample Chapter of Mobius Released!

         Hello, readers!

It's been a few months since my last update. In that time, I've been writing the second draft of my book and submitting the chapters to my critique group. They've given me good feedback, and I have decided that over the course of the year, I'm going to share the first 4 chapters with you, here on my website! You can find a link to the opening chapter below.

My goal of finishing the second draft in 2024 is, well, not going to happen. As of May, I've only written 9/40 of the chapters. I could write 4 chapters a month last year because my goal was only to finish the draft, not to make it good. This time, even though I know every chapter's purpose in the greater story, I have to take my time to put the best of my writing ability into each scene. With that goal, spending more time on the page would not necessarily lead to faster progress.

         However, it could be that I'm just in a slow part. A few chapters from now, I'll get into the meat of story, and maybe then the inspiration will fly. Regardless, I am as pumped as I have ever been to keep going and push Mobius all the way to the shelves, no matter what it takes!
